Day 3 Valencia / Newhall

Finally a day of glorious sunshine. A very early start for me, after a late night, with Lachie waking up at 5:30.
We began the family day with breakfast together with Susan and Oscar at Newhall's Egg Plantation. I knew what to expect, so my order was very small compared to the large breakfasts that emerged from the kitchen. Ella possibly ate the most? Andrew was most surprised to find the large crowd of people outside waiting for a seat in the restaurant.
Ella had slabs of French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon doused in syrup.
Torah ate a bowl of beans and berries.

After breakfast we drove home. Troy and Teagan joined us and the cousins had a lovely play, the youngest had a rest. I stayed behind to mind them, while the others walked to the mall to shop.
When Lachie and Torah woke up, they played outside with the toys. Then they played hide and seek inside with grandma. But Torah decided that hiding on the couch, under the cushions, was the very best place to hide every time. Both of them laughed joyously when "found".
When the shoppers returned the rest of the afternoon was spent relaxing on the lawn or inside. It was a lovely family day finished with a BBQ dinner, bed for the children and TV for some adults. Tim and I shared the table while we used our computers.
