My travelling bear was not too happy to find we were off again.
Back to America and Canada but this time the clothing for Canada includes hats, scarves, jumpers, thermals, gloves, boots and coats which made for a very full bag. When I added in the beautiful knitted rug for the new baby, (made by Sarah's auntie. She has made one for each baby of that generation) Sarah's required boxes of probiotics, Shapes biscuits and a few other items, it was most surprising that the bag weighed in at 21 kgs. Mind you not a lot of clothes for me. I'll be wearing the same things again and again.
This trip I will be staying in LA for a few days of jet lag recovery/ catch up with family, then up to Quebec for an overnight stay. The next morning I catch the train with minimal clothing to see Toronto, Niagara Falls, Montreal and then back to Quebec.
Tim's parent's visit overlaps mine by two weeks, so I guess we will take grand parenting duties in turns?
I return to LA on the 1st of December- possibly frost bitten- warm up and then home on the 8th .
Still waiting at a very empty boarding gate with no large Qantas plane in sight? But at least the seats are slowly filling up.
